The Soy Barcelona standard
All our partners, individuals or companies, registered and promoted through the public profile and who are part of the Soy Barcelona community, want to promote themselves and offer quality services. That is why we provide both users and partners with the Soy Barcelona Standard, a guide of conduct through which our partners show their commitment to service, quality and customer.
1. Be honest, do not disappoint and keep your promises.
Long-term relationships are based on trust and respect. Be an example in the community by the quality offered, be honest in your activities, do not try to deceive, either intentionally or by omitting the truth. Do not mislead the customer or colleagues and try to keep all your promises especially to customers.
2. Have a sincere communication with the customer about the additional costs.

3. Notify the client immediately if you can no longer complete the contract
If the personal or professional situation no longer allows the work to be done, notify the client as soon as you can. It is never known if the same client will need your services, so keep respect for the client even if you can not complete the contract.
4. Respect the appointments established with the client
Traffic, professional or personal situation can affect the appointments established between you and the client. Inform the client in advance if a rescheduling is needed or if there are delays in the program. We know that you, as well as your clients, want an honest attitude towards the established appointments.
5. Be polite, treat the customer with respect
In the Soy Barcelona community we consider that respect for the client is as important as respect for the profession practiced. That's why we ask you to keep a polite attitude towards the client.
6. Answer the customer's messages or calls as quickly as possible
Emergencies can put you and your clients in trouble. Respond as quickly as possible to the client's messages or phone number, in order to avoid difficult situations regarding the organization of projects when it comes to the client's availability or any other emergency situations.
7. Resolve complaints, irregularities and repairs professionally
Maintaining professionalism in the relationship developed with clients is essential. A high quality of services also requires a high quality of behavior, so when it comes to complaints or irregularities found by the client, please use professional language accompanied by a professional and polite attitude.
8. We do not tolerate abuse, aggression or threats
Soy Barcelona has a strict policy regarding vulgar or unlicensed communication, especially regarding the relationship between craftsmen and customers. As professionals we expect the highest standards in the Soy Barcelona community, we will investigate communications received regarding abuse, aggression or threats brought by any professional or client registered on the site or in the community.
9. Provides advice and help when you can and is asked by a member
You have certainly faced a difficult situation at least once in your life and you have sought the advice of friends or colleagues in the industry. Please help when possible, through professional advice, both colleagues and clients, when they need help.
10. Always be safe and take care of your health and clients health , too.
As for the risks, they must be considered and properly assessed by professionals, especially if there are risks in the execution of the work, either in terms of professional training, inadequate equipment or protective measures, or is given by the technical stage or the location of the work, they must be reported immediately and remedied in optimal and safe conditions. We also warn partners about the responsibility to ensure that they are in a physical stage suitable for performing the necessary actions in the execution of works.
11. The environment
We recommend limiting the actions regarding the environmental pollution caused as a result of the works carried out. We ask for caution in the use of toxic or polluting materials and we recommend recycling in any measure the materials or resources used in the execution of the works by the partners. At the same time, the disposal of waste and residues must be carried out at specially arranged points or performed by certified companies in the handling of hazardous substances where appropriate.
